Technical schools play a vital role in training the students in technical aspects. Technical aspect is very important in every trade. Students are required to complete minimum high school education to join the technical school. Technical schools conduct courses for a period of three years. Most of these courses give diplomas in various engineering related courses. The school timings are generally nine hours in a day. The syllabus covers most of the technical aspects of the trade. Technical drawing is also one of the subject which gives basic knowledge about the technical drawings. It helps the individual to first chalk out a plan before getting it on ground.
First year course subjects are common for all the students. Specialization starts from the second year of the course. Students of the different groups are separated and based on their trade and specialization they are educated. In the second year students earn almost educated half of the trade knowledge. When it comes to the final year they learn all the subjects in a detailed manner.
Apart from the students getting specialized in the subjects the next step is the on-the-job- training. Once after the three years of technical education is completed students are given the on-the-job-training. The students have to work on the real job and will be given training for a period of six months. Sometimes they will be provided a stipend during the training. This training helps them to work under experts. Knowledge sharing from the seniors helps the students to learn more about the trade and to become experts.
After these trainings are completed different companies conduct campus interviews at the technical school. Students are given written test. Personal interviews are conducted. Results are published in the technical school and the best candidates and skilled candidates are selected. Job opportunities are provided and students are appointed in different companies. These employed candidates have a very bright future based on their experience. Onsite job opportunities are provided for highly skilled candidates. Nowadays we find most of the technical courses being conducted online.
