When you are an auto mechanic, you have the option to either work in someone else’s shop, or to buy your own shop, hire a couple of other people, and take on some assistants that can help you to magnify the amount of money that you can earn. While it is ultimately going to be in your best interests to build a business with plenty of other people working for you, once you have the skills you can start with those, with the basic tools of the trade, and with whatever customers you can hustle up through your own inimitable charm. And the very same thing goes if you choose to go into heating and air conditioning repair or installation. While you could always just go get a job and put in forty hours or so a week for someone else, you do not have to go this route. After all, you control the skills that you bring to the table. And since you are in control of those skills, you do not necessarily need to work for an employer. In fact, you could simply post an ad in the local phone book, and do well by your appointments. |
